This was a great park at one time. Home of the Hampton fair days, the Boy Scout jamboree, the countless family reunions and picnics. We would walk our basset ties here every day and launch our boat from here on the weekends. Now, it is not such a place. The campground has all but Been Abandoned. The roads are falling apart, the trees are dying in the woods. It is sad that this once great area has now become nothing more then an abandoned wasteland. We need you JW. Now more than ever.
