Dead pelican near the manatee regulation sign just to left of the ramp, should be removed for health reasons and distressing to see. Also FYI, saw a dead pelican and another dead bird at the rookery in the Bay just south of the bridge to Snell Isle, wondering if there's a problem (disease?) or normal deaths

The City's Sanitation Department would be able to pick up the bird at the boat launch, however if there is suspicion of an illness, Pinellas County offers this information on their website:
http://www.pinellascounty.org/utilities/getridofit/animals_dead.pdf
"Wild birds:
1. Report an injured or dead wild bird (land or seabird) to the Clearwater Audubon Society (442-9140) or the St. Petersburg Audubon Society (526-3725)."
