Oh I sympathize with you. Had one 2 doors away for 2 years! No one would help without a hefty fee. Then one day he was gone.......!

Has a code enforcement officer been to the homeowners house yet? It really is out of control! Last I check we live in a residential area not farm land.

Code Enforcement did not do anything. Neither did PD Dept. Wildlife agencies would charge a fee $100-$300. I agree....this is a residential area. Perhaps Mr Ortiz & Jan wouldn't mind it living near them.

Dee you said it right I would not mind!!!! People waste time complaining about things that are least important! It is very unfortunate that so many are so egocentric and inhumane. What is next a request that the city exterminate birds because they sing? Get a life people!!!

No one said anything about exterminating just relocating but it is not permitted in the city. "Singing??? Seriously.......?

Code enforcement and Public services are currently working on trying to catch the chickens and relocate them. These are loose chickens and do not belong to any homeowners in the neighborhood. We have located their roosting tree and will try to catch them in the near future. Thank you, Major Davis

The chickens seem to have now migrated to the NW 10th St block between 81st Ave and 83rd Way. I have seen them on multiple neighbors front yards including my own. The rooster has recently taken to hanging out under my bedroom window on most mornings crowing incessantly. They need to be relocated! They are a nuisance.

Is anyone from the city reading the comments on this site? The rooster can be found anywhere between the plaza on University and Johnson St and NW 10 th St!
