Description

I am contacting you on behalf of a neighbor who asked me for help. Approximately 3 years ago the City installed a new storm drain along 2nd Street between 92nd Avenue North and 94th Avenue North. Approximately 9 months ago a large hole appeared in the yard. The owner believes that the City's sewer pipe has a crack in it that is causing dirt from this yard to fall into the line, causing the large and dangerous hole. The attached pictures do not show the depth, but is quite deep. The homeowner complained and was told that the problem is in her connection to the sewer. The owner does not believe this is the case, and would like a written report on the City's investigation of the cause of the hole. The homeowner has children and is concerned about someone getting hurt.
