Description
This beg button is impossible to reach from the sidepath, especially for bicyclists. Once you get to the button, you then have to work pretty hard to either get back to the sidepath or re-orient toward the crosswalk (and then hope you don't roll too far into the intersection proper). It would be a lot safer and more useful if the button were relocated to the right side of the sidepath, where both pedestrians and bicyclists could easily reach it.
Also, it would be awesome if the permissive yellow for cars turning onto Burning Tree from Raleigh Rd were NOT active when the walk signal is on. Way too many close calls here...

I have added the rest in walk feature so that the walk phase comes on automatically and extends through the green time on NC-54. The push button is still necessary to cross NC-54.
Omitting the permissive yellow is possible, but we will have to coordinate with NCDOT to insure that is would work with this signal configuration. We would likely have to drop the rest in walk feature however, and it would eliminate the permissive yellow all together.
