Description

Coming from Arlington and on Alewife brook parkway, I am stopped at a red light at Terminal Rd (Circle Furniture on right), intersection of Terminal Rd and Alewife. There is a No turn on Red sign. When my light turns green and I am taking a right onto terminal Rd the pedestrian light turns from don’t walk to walk. I know to yield to a pedestrian even if I have a green light but with someone distracted or looking at their phone they might just go without looking. I feel this is a traffic hazard. A woman got killed a few years ago on the corner of Summer Street and Melcher Street near South Station in Boston because of the same kind of situation. Very dangerous. Please respond.
