Ten years ago I talked to the traffic dept. my councilperson's aide, delafuentes office(no response) and the school. The traffic dept said they could not put in a light as there was no $$. I said how about a vertical sign like the one on Grand... They said not right for the width of the street. 3 schools, senior housing, commuter bus stops. What other justification do they need? Oh yeah, one injured senior. How many accidents???

There have been several on that corner. I know one involved a serious injury to a cyclist. That was the week we had three accidents in one week.
