Gateway Pointe Elementary floods their fields to water the grass. Every time they do this, the surrounding communities are inundated with mosquitos, flies, and a horrid stench from the water that pools for weeks on end. I can’t even go in my backyard. Please treat the area for mosquitos. Given Maricopa county’s recent report of record numbers of West Nile virus, it would behoove the Town of Gilbert to modernize irrigation at the school and proactively treat the area prior to irrigation.
