City of Maumelle assigned this issue to Mike Hogan, Director of Public Works

Thank you for reporting this issue to the City of Maumelle. We will make every effort to resolve this situation as soon as possible.

The neighborhood of Sologne pays property taxes like every other neighborhood in Maumelle and deserves to have its streets maintained. Also, keep in mind the Maumelle community regularly uses the ponds and green space in Sologne and drive on the streets to get to these spaces. If the city can own easements on the properties in Sologne, the city should also maintain the streets. Thank you for reading this concern and please consider the benefits for the community.

The Sologne Forrest subdivision was developed as a private subdivision and has never been dedicated to the city. As of right now, it is the POA's risibility for any repairs to be done in this subdivision. Please contact your POA for more information.

When I spoke to the POAs in the past, they stated they are only responsible for maintaining the green spaces in our area. They do not manage road repair for any neighborhood in the Country Club of Arkansas. What would have to happen for a neighborhood to be dedicated to the city?

Please contact your POA for that information. Your POA has been working with the city for a possible dedication to take place and negotiations at this time are ongoing.
