This is a brownfield. The EPA has it on their list to be remediated but it’s not nearly bad enough to be remediated for another 30 or so years.

The fugitive dust and odor are both regulated by MPCA but they do nothing. The trucks fill up the sunken boulevards nearby with dirt. The trucks drag dirt all over 25th. It's a major problem.

It’s gross. The city needs to address how they’ve changed zoning in the area to multi unit residential and acknowledge that there are literally thousands more people now living in this neighborhood than when previously addressed. Combine this issue with the stream of SKB garbage trucks clogging Malcolm and stinking up the high rise corridors and spilling out nails etc, and the city has a responsibility to the residents that it’s encouraged and density it’s designed through 2040 plan while at the same time they’re trying to turn a blind eye on these pollutants. I contacted city council. I’ll push more. It’s gross and unacceptable. They may have to pay for relocation idk but east Henn is now the only industrial side of these rail tracks,
