This house is a drive-thru drug depot. It's bad enough that the house across the street is still standing and occupied.

I have to agree. The house on the West side needs to be torn down. Across the street @ the redwood house looks like people there are up to no good. More than likely there is drug activity.

I've seen them the last few days when riding my bike past the house in the early morning. They sit out there and yell, it's a bit unsettling to go past them.

The men in question are the former occupants of 1806 Brown Ave. I don’t know what sort of deal they’ve struck with the owner of 1817 Brown, but I highly doubt he’s got a ‘rental occupancy permit’. These guys are constantly publicly intoxicated, cursing and arguing loudly at all hours and often sprawled out on the lawn passed out. It’s unsettling to leave my house as the younger guy has a history of criminal behavior (thievery). Any of us would be hard pressed to sell our homes with the level of decay at 1806 Brown and the unsavory activity at 1817 Brown. Can’t something be done?!?!?

Totally agree with Peggy's comment. One of the occupants was passed out at 10:30 am yesterday.

Instead of helping the homeless, people are discriminating by the way they look. Put yourself in that situation, and maybe you’ll know how it feels. If you are having a problem, look the other way and mind your business.

n.a. be sure to lead by example and stop by this location to donate some goods and money to these individuals. Better yet, take them into your home for a shower and a free meal every other day.

The help they need is at an addiction facility. They are in this situation because of poor choices made solely by themselves.

n.a. (Narcotics anonymous, I presume)…I can tell you first hand the statements made herein are from first hand experience with these individuals, and not ‘discriminatory’ due to their ‘appearance’.
They lived at the home (1806 Brown)for many years by the grace of a relative, inherited the home over 10 years ago and never dropped a red cent into repairs or paying taxes, despite no mortgage and being able bodied and working. As Lovey stated, the men created this situation themselves and the neighbors have been forced to tolerate their drunkenness and structural decay of the home all these years, now they have moved their ‘operations’ across the street, to a home of another is slowly falling into its own disrepair. I worked my tail off to purchase and maintain my home. I, and the surrounding hard working neighbors shouldn’t be forced to contend with this.

Now there are 3 squatters!

What?? This has got to stop. People are not allowed to live on the front lawn.

It seems they have moved their "squatting" to the backyard. Also a few mornings ago very early an older pickup truck was parked on the North side of the 1817 Brown house. Hope the owner of 1806 plans to cut the lawn there soon also.

Well, that isn't the Yogi Bear Campground and people can't live in someone's yard. I don’t even want to think about what the people are doing for bathroom needs...

They might go to Stracks or dig a hole and go 🤦🏻‍♀️

The entire corner of brown and warwick smells like a nasty bathroom. Both of these properties need to be knocked down.
