Many of these properties are owned by Yale Properties. I'm sure Yale Properties would be amenable to allowing the city to install racks adjacent to the sidewalk, as is done throughout other sections of Downtown.
As part of its commitment to sustainability, the City has already purchased hundreds of racks which according to Mike Piscitelli are available for installation upon request.
There is a bike rack on the corner of Sachem and Mansfield that can accomodate six bikes. It has been determined by the department that no additional bike racks will be installed at this time.
