Traveling from downtown up to the Maple Street bridge. Should there be left/straight arrows on the road and a sign to turn the traffic over the bridge and have the right lane go straight to the next light at the firehouse? There always seems to be confusion there with drivers which sometimes results in "road rage" that is unprovoked by the innocent driver in the left lane that ends up going straight. It was a problem before the bridge work and is again. Just a thought.

In light of the issue being directly tied to the jurisdiction of a State of CT Dept of Transportation, the upgrade of traffic lines would probably be best addressed by the subject (DOT) department. It would be fair to mention; by popular public sentiment living within the town of Ansonia and shared surrounding areas, the future arrowed line updates should provided a direction where drivers will be directed and pointed straight out of the subject economically distressed and blighted down-town area. Providing “Do Re-Enter” signs as physically placed warnings would benefit the health and safety of the area population due to some of the dangerous structures hanging off the blighted industrial buildings in direct sight and contact of the roadway in the town of Ansonia. Obviously at this time the bigger issue is trying to improve economic appearance in order to stage an attraction for sustainable businesses to join a clean looking community rather than the current state of industrial mess. Traffic is currently limited to local population as line painting would need to have a value added approuch against the real hazards and neglected economic future caused by building owners.

And this town actually pushes common home ownership blight laws and probably doesn't blink an eye at what is 100 yards north of their home office. Go figure, I am so out of here.

A little common sense and knowledge of the rules of the road is all that is needed here.
