It's been a year since I tried to draw to attention to the extension of Calle Lorca Park that exits on to Plaza del Sur. There is a rental tenant in the local neighborhood that has very kindly been picking up a lot of the trash, on a very regular basis, in one area and I have been picking up the trash in another area of this open space. This seems to have discouraged homeless camps and their accompanying trash which we are grateful for. However, there are piles of dead branches are a fire hazard. One pile is in the flat area narrow area on the slope that runs down from the parking lot of Avaria Apts and the other large pile, that has been there for years, is up against a property fence in the drainage area. I walked the area on 10/3/12, and saw an area near it that had recently been burned.
