Description

At the entrance to Wharfside commons carsand trucks are always parking on the curb where the fire hydrant is located. As long as I can remember that was supposed to be illeage, But the cops always seem to look the other way or dirve right by and ignore the ileaglally parked vehicles. If they got Ticketed or towed perhaps they woulden't do that Or at least a NO PARKING sign might help identify the fact that there is a firehydrant there. not to mention obstructing the entrance

1st...I agree something should be done.
2nd... When Warfside Commons catches fire & the fire trucks can't get to the hydrant & as a result several
lives are lost. At that time the city will form a committee about forming a committee to investigate the issue
& deal with class action law suites filed on behalf of survivors & their families !!

Its tha same thing as the Parking ban during snow storms in Middletown, It is not enforced and the people who violate the Fire hydrant ordinance and entrance obstruction code will probably never get ticketed because it is beneath any patrol cops duty to get out and manually write a ticket of have a vehicle towed to avoid a possible safety violation. No nothing will ever likely happen to correct this problem, it is an almost daily occurance and just continues as if it were not there..
