Q. How long has this condition existed?
A. At least 2 years
A. At least 2 years
Q. How is the sidewalk defective?
A. The positioning of the metal pole that supports the traffic signals for cars obstructs the view of pedestrians waiting for the crossing signal. Because right on red is legal at this intersection, it often results in drivers turning right to head southbound on plantation street towards 290 and creates a hazard to pedestrians. I have almost been hit multiple times crossing this intersection with a walk signal active.
