I have been following this issue for over a year and nothing has been done. The property has never been cleaned up.

It's time for the City Council to openly address this issue. The neighbors in this area are furious about the situation. And by "openly", I mean an agenda item at a council meeting.

If this is a rental property, the owner of the house needs to take action.

The vehicles should be reported to the police department. Smithville does not have a law against parking on the ROW, nor does it have a vehicle limit, but the vehicles must be registered. As for the junk in the yard, we have an upcoming court date and it will be noted for court. Trailers can only be parked 7 out of 60 days. And it does not have to be consecutive.

This issue is currently being looked into by an Inspector. We will update you on the status as able.

This is an ongoing issue there is a court setting coming up.
