Q. 1. Is a Traffic Signal(s) OUT OF SERVICE (in FLASH MODE, LOST POWER or SKIPPING a PHASE(s))? If YES, please exit See Click Fix immediately and call the City Engineering Dept. at (205) 444-7529 to report the issue.
A. Possibly skipping a phase, but can not confirm - please see question 3.
Q. NOTE: If a traffic signal is OUT OF SERVICE and you are reporting after 4pm or on the weekend, please notify the Hoover Police Dept. immediately at 205-822-5300.
A. No
Q. 2. Is there a Red, Yellow or Green bulb out on the signal head? If YES, please call the City Engineering Dept. immediately at (205) 444-7529 to report the issue.
A. No
Q. 3. Is this a signal timing issue? (For example, does it seem like a particular movement at the intersection is having to wait too long for a green light; or does it seem like a particular movement does not get enough green time?) If YES, please provide 1) a brief summary of your observation, 2) the subject intersection, 3) the day of the week AND the time of the day the issue was observed.
A. Yes. 1. When headed north from Lorna road (to cross 31 to reach the 65S on-ramp), there was a large traffic build-up because the light to reach 65S would not turn green. I was in line for at least 6 minutes, and dozens of cars were turning right onto hwy 31 and performing dangerous u-turns to get back onto the 65S ramp that way. 2. This occurred at the I-65 intersection of Lorna and hwy 31. 3.This occurred on Thursday at approx 7:25am, but I have witnessed similar events Tues and Wed.
Q. Note: Please provide your preferred method of contact just in case we need to reach you to discuss your request.
