Austin-thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. Tree root intrusion is becoming an all-to-common issue for the City to address. Our department employees a certified arborist who assists our Pavement Maintenance Team in properly trimming root systems before making repairs to the sidewalk. We then monitor the tree over the next several months to ensure a proper recovery. Again, thank you!
