Description

During the Aug 8, 2023 storm, 2 properties (34 and 40 Burnside Rd.) which border my property (45 Bennington St.) were flooded with several feet of water. This resulted in my fence bordering both of these properties being submerged in 2-3 feet of water for 6-8 hours. While there was no immediate impact to my fence, I'm concerned that the prolonged exposure to water will result in accelerated rotting of both the fence posts and portion of the fence that was submerged.
