Yes, DPS removed some snow on Bridge St on the 28th and 29th, but skipped the actual junction of Bridge and Washington by the MBTA pedestrian entrance.

I realize the mayor would rather spend money on capital improvements than snow "that's going to melt soon anyways", but this is getting ridiculous. There seems no rhyme or reason to the prioritization that has been given to which streets get snow removal and which have to wait for melting.

Skipping that area makes no sense. Its a high traffic area by cars, buses, trucks, and pedestrians. It should be cleared Asap before someone really gets hurt. You can't have a lane and then all.of the sudden dont have the the lane at the intersection. That is a major safety concern.

Such a critical and heavily trafficked intersection on a major thoroughfare should have been one the first areas to be addressed, and it needs to be addressed still. Several tickets have been submitted regarding the timing of the traffic lights down near the commuter rail entrance, but the actual hindrances are the snow banks restricting traffic at the intersection of Bridge Street with ramps to/from North Street (where there is a left-only lane being used as the primary lane) and the snow bank up by the Commuter Rail access stairs at Washington and Bridge.

Yet snow removal contractors were actively removing snow curb-to-curb at the vacant and seasonally abandoned Salem Willows Amusement area yesterday 3/4/15 (and worth noting that most streets in the Willows have long been curb-to-curb). The contractors appear to be "making work" rather than following any productive direction from DPS.

Would be nice to get my normal 2 way street was cleared so its more than one lane. Right now we cant see to make turns and have to back up if encountering someone coming opposite way. But I haven't posted it because i see what a mess major streets are still so havent felt justified in complaining. But if contractor just doing busy work at the willows they should be addressing this instead.

Stunning to invest so much in the Commuter Rail station and then drive residents to frustration with lingering snow and light timing. Not to mention ignoring the many issues entered here. I hope someone involved in coordinating/prioritizing this work examines why this is happening to ensure it never happens again. (After first fixing the issues, of course.)

Apparently cameras to gawk at people in the parks is more important.
