That tree has more rights then the both of us in this City, it's sickening.

Chop that treee down!!! We need action today!

Two thoughts: (1) There is an election coming up. Are you considering confronting some Council candidates about apparent city priorities (the "rights" above included)? (2) If, e.g., cars are actually being damaged (or other damage is occurring) after the attention of the city was drawn to the tree's condition and nothing was done, have you considered a lawyer and whether a class action suit against the city would be better at getting their attention to such issues?

The city council does absolutely nothing but what they want. I lived here for 50 years and now it’s more trees and bike lanes no more cars or parking spaces, who cares about businesses. They are forgetting THIS IS A CITY. You want suburbs move there. A tree having more rights then the person paying taxes is ridiculous. The tree is dangerous to people,cars and houses but yet they won’t remove it. The council and the city better pray a child doesn’t get injured or kills by this tree

We need to make a group outside of this forum where we can band together - this forum is really just to make the citys life easier - we basically do half the work for them which is identifying issues - no ones walking down the streets from rhe works department putting any effort I can assure you of that.
Ive seen them drive right ny road kill - they only respond after we post about it. But rest assured someone on the job saw that same issue - knows about it - and chose to do nothing.

Location has been inspected. Tree will be scheduled for removal.

We still need to make an outside group that is not regulated by the city - clearly they need people like us to guide them in the right direction.
But horray for them saying they will remove that rotting tree.
