This was Crabtree Creek at the bend by the trail between Hertford and Allaghaney. Raleigh has a HUGE problem with litter. We need people to get out and pick it up, especially when it's in environmentally sensitive areas like streams. In this case, it's dense enough and potentially toxic enough to warrant someone getting out from behind their desk and getting it taken care of. It all comes from convenience stores and fast food joints and they need to coerced into implementing a remedy. I bet a large percentage of this dump could be traced back to the McDonalds just up stream.
all of the trash cans within the flood zone empty their contents into crabtree creek each time it floods. I would guess a large part of this is flood pollution, we can't simply put this off on individual responsibility.
Another attemp to sweep responsibility under the rug. It's offensive to the citizenry how the CoR will NEVER accept responsibility for anything. We pay big bucks to have them tend to public areas and we still don't know who's job it is to see that we're getting our money's worth.
seems common trend on here too people do nice to report to city and lots of passing blame or just closing reports and acting like they cant find anything wrong why do they even on here
