Maybe if you put a little hop into your step instead of slowly sauntering across this wouldn't be an issue. I've never had an issue with a crosswalk light in Middletown turning before I've made it through. If there's one thing I've noticed in Middletown it's that people sure like to take their sweet time crossing the street whether they have the right to cross or not. 90% of the time no one even waits for the light and just crosses all the while forcing the traffic that has the green light to stop and wait. Go to any crosswalk in Middletown and you'll see. Personally, I think the police should start handing out jaywalking tickets.

has anyone ever drove down the north end of main st?? from the bridge to washington st.. personally think that it is pointless to even have crosswalks.. people just cross whenever they feel like it.. and dont look both ways..

Thats just like the Wesleyan area, college kids who can't cross the street, ha, too busy texting & not even glancing for oncoming traffic. It's a zoo down there.
