That light should never activate unless cars are turning at the light. Been backing up for years and contributing to pollution and climate change while cars idle needlessly!

Status ? This is an on going issue that backs up traffic, because of this traffic light and the one before it at Thomas Patten Dr..It should be blinking yellow ! The movie theater no longer has much traffic.

Can someone, with knowledge of how things work, please explain how to get this fixed. Do we need to write to someone in the state government? Only allowing 3-4 cars through at a time, can create road rage and bad decisions. I don’t know if there are many accidents in this area but the road rage can spread to other roads in town. And as another post on one of the Randolph pages said, our insurance rates are going through the roof!
