Description

Residents of Appletree Ln, Croshee Ln, Old Brook Rd and Woodside Ave experienced PROPERTY DAMAGE and FLOODING due to the spillway located on 26 Appletree Lane. The source of this water is located between 307 & 318 Hill street.

The neighborhood reported that this issue has been reported to the city of Leominster several times dating back two decades and has not been addressed properly. Every heavy rain & snow melt event that occurs, the spillway on 26 Appletree Lane, fed from the storm drain/brook between 307 & 318 Hill street flows heavily causing property damage. OUR HOMES ARE BEING USED AS A DRAINING SYSTEM!

Residents of the Woodside Ave neighborhood demand the city take this inquiry seriously and re-engineer the storm drain system on Hill St to divert this water properly so that residential property is NOT used as a natural draining system. Our homes cannot handle this repeated water issue coming from Hill St.
