Now it has been two months since Duke Energy did this work, and the area is still open, the "caution" tape is degrading, and the safety issue still remains. Is there someone at Duke Energy I can contact?

Is it normal for Duke Energy to ignore requests from the City to complete a task they started months ago?

Vault still open and sides starting to cave in after all the rain.

After much research I found that the responsibility for securing and closing up the service connection vault belongs to the property owner and not Duke Energy. The owner has agreed to have their contractor return and finish the job.

Please close this issue.
