Hamburg Turnpike from William Paterson University to Valley Road is one pothole after another. You can barely stay in one lane without ruining your tires.
Thats normal for Wayne, the pothole capitol of the state. They just dont care, Michele. They got a guy who collects a big salary for seeing that the roads are maintained, but he is really just making sure his bank account is being maintained.
I am well aware that it is a County Road, as is Ratzer and others. Nonetheless, the roads are in Wayne and since they pay the most taxes, they should be the largest sounding board, and have the most clout to the County to have the road fixed!!! Otherwise your tax money is just being thrown away. It is Wayne's responsibility to ensure the safety of their residents, no matter what it takes. So it is up to them to put pressure on the County to fix it before someone dies on these trecherous roads. I still think they are shirking their responsibilities by not constantly persuing it and following up to make sure its fixed.
