Description
The City of New Haven Is littered with Potholes. Every Street is full. I have been a resident of New Haven for over 50 years and I have never seen such neglect of our City Roads. In addition this has been the year for the worst snow removal ever. If you drive through surrounding towns you will not see the abundance of poorly plowed streets.
The residents of the City of New Haven pay outrageous property tax, close to the highest in the country. What are we getting for our hard earned monies? Its ridiculous!!!!!

Some of the damage that may happen to your vehicle may not happen right away and may be difficult to trace to potholes, unlike tire damage.
To file a claim contact the city clerk office.
We had a pothole problem before the snow,
Do not forget the potholes when you vote this November unless you want more of this.

If they waited until the leaves fell off the trees before finalizing the fall cleanup on THEIR schedule (not natures) it would have helped but that would have only made sense.
I have to say as bad as the removal was (side to side on streets) they at least made the effort to clear the streets in a timely manner and the potholes are due to the weather not lack of filling them.

There is only a one party system in the City of New Haven. The other party is not the greatest either but maybe if these do nothing politicians are shown in November that they need to perform their duties for the betterment of the people and the city it may pursuade them to look farther then their own pockets.

Some one is filling their pockets.
Im sure there is a surplus of money when schools are being rebuilt after being used less then 30 years.

I am finally moving out of New Haven. I no longer can afford to live here, between the taxes and outrageous price for auto insurance ( twice as much than neighboring towns) and the crooked administration I say good bye.
