Description
Recently, Springfield put a stop sign for northbound Norwinden traffic at Claremont but not one for southbound traffic. This makes for a dangerous situtation for people traveling south on Norwiden and turning left accross traffic on to Claremont. Folks traveling north will pullout in front of you because they just assume you are stopping too. Please remove the stop sign and make southbound traffic yield to oncoming traffic (restore the old and safe traffic flow) or better yet simply make it a 3-way stop.

Maybe another sign advising that opposing traffic does not stop could work.
As far as the man coming to the meetings to get action on his street, he should be thanked for caring enough about his children and the community to get involved to initiate action.
Sometimes we all have to bear inconvenience for the safety of others. It is what responsible members of society endure. Having neighbors that care and get involved is the greatest protection you have against declining property values.
I have never heard anyone say they could not live on a street because it had too many stop signs.
