On Friday, Oct 6, without notice or permission, this ditch was "cleaned up" in our yard (and in neighboring yards) by ??? County???. A ditch was already here, with lots of vegetation and wildflowers to stop erosion and was smaller. We need someone to contact us to discuss how erosion from bare soil will be prevented, why the ditch is larger than the culvert opening (we just repaired an issue where water from ditch went around the culvert causing sink holes and caused our driveway to begin collapsing/being washed out - that work is now undone) how to fix so water goes into culvert without washing away our driveway again; and why there isn't consistent treatment on both sides of our driveway or on the road overall (only one side of the driveway was cleared). County sent me to voicemail. Township says not their project. Will call City too. Would like to have resolved before weather turns cold. And guess others on street may have similar concerns.
