Thank you for using FayFixIt. Unfortunately, personal carts can no longer be used for your garbage collection. This went into effect July 1, 2023. Solid Waste requires the use of City of Fayetteville carts so that they can be repaired or replaced as needed. If you have further questions or concerns, please give us at 910-433-1329.

The personal cart guidelines were added to the new city ordinance that took effect on 7/1/2023. We now only service City of Fayetteville carts because we can easily repair or replace them. Good afternoon. I have looked at your cart, and our drivers were correct not to service it; however, I got a truck and emptied the cart as a one-time courtesy. I also replaced your old, damaged City of Fayetteville green cart with a new one. I must ask that you do not use that personal cart anymore for trash, please. We hope you will consider purchasing a brown City of Fayetteville cart if you need a second cart for garbage. I apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.
