Description

The residents of the community are requesting that "Please slow down" or similar sign be put up for cars driving down Hamilton before they hit Linden. This is a 25 mph zone, but many cars are driving down it like it's a speedway. There is a blind spot at the intersection because the road curves and is slightly downhill. This gives drivers the impression that they can speed down this road. However, many of us almost get hit by drivers somewhat regularly while we're crossing the crosswalk! We would like either a stop sign at this intersection, a "smart" crosswalk with a button, speed bumps, or a crossing guard at this intersection. Please do not wait to address this - it could save a life!
