Description

We live in the corner house on Westbourne and 926 and have had two different car accidents crash INTO our residence, and numerous others outside of the residence on almost a monthly schedule. Speeding cars coming down the hill on 926 are almost always to blame.

I agree Kristy. 926 is an extremely unsafe residential highway. Several calls and Emails to the Westtown East-East Goshen Regional Police Department has not been returned and no increased patrol or traffic enforcement efforts have been made. This is a growing concern. When was the last accident. I believe we had a car that flipped over earlier this week. I ask you to send an email to the Westtown Township board of supervisors and ask of their assistance in this matter.

I am a resident of Thornbury Twp for 20 plus years and I have never seen traffic this bad or at this volume. The new school is one of the causes plus all of the development plus the fact that 926 has become THE MAJOR ARTERY between Rt202 and RT3 traffic. These issues are only going to get worse. Additional policing is not the answer but perhaps putting speeding impairments like raised speed bumps, gravel etc to slow down speeding traffic will.

Township officials are not acting on this Growing Concern. Both Westtown and Thornbury blaim the cause on PennDot and PennDot blaims the issues on Law Enforcement. We need to get ourselves to township meetings and LOUDLY Voice Our Concerns and Demand Action to be taken on this issue.
