  Unfortunately I have not been able to make contact with anyone at the property as of yet. A letter is being sent to request an inspection of the property since I am not allowed to enter private property without permission. I have not been able to see any evidence of rodents from the public way at this time.

  There are known rodent issues in this area so I am also working on some educational materials to help people know what to look for and what they can do on their own property to help make sure they are not providing harborage, food, or water for rodents.

  Thank you so much for the update. I totally understand the legality behind it. I appreciate it for being attentive to the issue and making attempts I will spread the word to some of my neighbors. On way to prevent rats.

  I have spoken with the owner of the property. They had not received any complaints from their tenants so they were unaware of any rodent activity happening. I will be scheduling a time with the property owner to take a look at the yard next week. I will update you after the inspection takes place.
