A. I attended a volleyball tournament at GameOn in Fitchburg on the weekend of 12/9/2023-12/10/2023. It seems that the restaurants do not have adequate ventilation and there is a high concentration of PM2.5 and other cooking-related pollutants in the air. The air was visually quite smoky and many complained of the smoke. Several patrons developed headaches. Could the department do some independent air testing and look into remediation of the issue (i.e., better air ventilation and filtration) ASAP? I am not only concerned for the patrons of this establishment but also the workers who have to be there for long hours each day!
