Description
Going North on Baldwin (past I-75), the road goes from a 2 Lane Road down to a One Lane road. Even though there is a sign saying "Merge Left" people still continue to blow through the right lane just to beat out those of us that were in the correct lane from the start. It basically becomes a "chicken" match to see who makes it into the lane first. There needs to be a bigger sign that says "Lane will end". (Also, people tend to forget that the section of road going through Gingleville is actually 35mph, and not 45mph).

The Road Commission agrees this road should be widened and has been working for probably 20 years toward that goal. However, the development that has occurred does not generate any road funding, and this is a very expensive project. We continue to work with Orion Township to try to find a way to move this forward, but it is funding dependent. At this point, we are still more than $25 million short of funding for this project.
