Thank you for reporting this issue to us via SeeClickFix St. Pete. We appreciate your concern as we continue implementing the city’s E-Scooter program. City staff will share your concerns with the appropriate vendor as soon as practical on your behalf. You may contact the vendor directly for a potentially timelier response. Questions about their equipment or any reports such as misplaced, abandoned, or improperly parked scooters may be submitted directly to Veo at hello@veoride.com or 855-836-2256. Additionally, each scooter has a sticker with a unique number that will assist the vendor with identification.
**Any observed traffic infractions or other dangerous operations by scooter riders should be reported immediately by calling the Police Department’s non-emergency number, 727-893-7780, while the activity is occurring**
It is important to note that due to the popularity of privately owned scooters and State legislation that makes them legal to use, much like bicycles, not every scooter in operation is part of the city’s program. Our shared scooter program rules are stringent, requiring set hours of operation, age restrictions for riders, and equipment placement in dedicated corrals. More information about the E-Scooter program may be found on the city’s website: https://www.stpete.org/visitors/scooter_safety.php
Thank you
