This is unacceptable. Come on Oakland, start doing something about the homeless. Why are they allowed to keep cutting through fences and setting up camp? If allowed to grow it will start other problems.

This is terrible. And a simple "referral to code inforcement" doesn't cut it.

The longer this goes on the worse it gets. Why is this issue taking time? Once that fence is cut , a vehicle pulls in there and tents are set up these people should be arrested. The homeless seem to get away with too much, that's why they do it.

I don't feel safe walking to/from BART (especially in the evening).

This kind of encampment should be dealt with within 24 hours of being reported, what is the hold up? A 72 hour notice to vacate is all they need. Fix the fence, put a strong lock on it, cite the vehicle that's there , issue a stay away order. Unacceptable for the city to put up with this type of behavior.
