The stop sign is there. The speed limit is 25 mph. Drivers ignore the Stop SIgn and travel routinely at 40 mph and occasionally at 50mph on Donnelly Ave. I have seen a motorcycle do a 'wheely' as he approached Vinsmith on Donnelly.

Whar happened in 1952 is irrelevant to the danger to Donnelly and Radon residents today. We have children and elderly who are at risk every day. I wrote nothing about Marianville because I am not qualified to speak to that, as you are obviously not qualified to speak authoritatively about the danger to residents of Donnelly & Radon.

well considering there was not a stop sign there since they built the development in the 1950's maybe they should remove it! It wasn't needed till some complained so why do they need it now? TAKE IT DOWN OR we can JUST KEEP IGNORING it like everybody usually does anyhow.

When the houses were built and the roadways were planned, there wasn't nearly as much traffic as there is now. As circumstances change, so should the traffic signs, etc., to accommodate those changes and to protect the people living in that area. When driving in the area, I often use Donnelley or Marianville as cut-through streets. While visiting friends on Marianville, I find the amount of speeding traffic & those not stopping at the stop signs very upsetting -- especially with small children in the neighborhood. Why can't people just follow the rules & think of others once in a while?
