I have witnessed this on numerous occasions and as a reult I am forced to look both ways to safely cross this one-way street!

Definitely happens regularly -- I've seen many cars driving in reverse to pull this off. Starting with the 395 improvements, cars also now sneak northbound (usually several at a time) on 4th Street NW just below New York Ave NW, against the "Do Not Enter" signs, to turn right onto 395 Southbound. Especially on weekends. The MPD officer on patrol at 3rd and L told me Saturday it would require an officer to be posted there.

Cars disobey the do not enter and one way signs on 4th street nw between m and n streets nw. Someone is going to get hurt.
