Water In Basement Investigation

As the homeowner and a licensed plumber in the state of Michigan, I have thoroughly investigated the basement backup issue. I also enlisted the expertise of another licensed plumber to assess the situation. After snaking the sewer, it was determined that a blockage on the city side is causing the constant backup.

Your technician visited the property on 1/24/24, but no one was home at the time. A door knocker was left, indicating a "private line issue." However, based on the home's security cameras, it appears that the technician did not spend enough time on the property to thoroughly investigate and determine the issue.

I would appreciate a more comprehensive assessment and resolution of this ongoing problem. As of this morning my entire basement is full of water and the street is completely flooded. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The entire street is flooded. Neighbors have said they’ve been dealing with this matter for years and don’t know where to turn. Please resolve the matter.
