Update from the Codes Compliance Department: In order for a Codes investigator to respond to an issue or complaint about something happening on the inside of a structure, a resident at the reported address would need to call Codes directly at 727-893-7373, give their name and contact information, and agree to allow the investigator to visit the location and inspect the issue from the inside. I have done this about the mold entering my apartment by the vents from the apartment below mine, CE Investigator Robert Hicks came out and witnessed this, and 6 other Code Violations and gave Emerald Bay till 4/29/2016 to Fix this issue. Maintenance came to my apartment, took the vent covers down and spray painted them so the Mold is not visible. I witnessed this action. You are the Mayor Of St Petersburg. When are you going to stop with the excuses and start honoring your position to protect the Citizens of St Pete??? You are saying that because it is a Complex That they have the right to jeopardize the Health and Welfare of its tenants without any legal actions?

City staff periodically review past SCF reports that are made both from citizens and internally from various departments, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
