Description
This house has been a problem for years. The city says no one has reported on anything yet this year, so here goes: There's ongoing criminal activity - mostly narcotics and prostitution - at this address. The police are very well aware of the situation, but perhaps other departments of the city should be as well. Numerous neighbors have received threats of violence when they have confronted some of the residents for selling drugs. Want to know more? Come to the next Historic Uptown Neighborhood Association meeting.

Thank you for your SeeClickFix post dated April 17, 2015. The Mayor has asked me to respond directly to you regarding the criminal activity occurring at the 727 7 Avenue North address. Community Officer B. Bill responded to the residence and is currently coordinating his efforts to reduce unwanted activity at that location with the members of the Investigative Services Bureau. He also continues to collaborate with the Street Crimes Unit, which is also aware of the issues in this area, in an effort to monitor and enforce narcotic activity at this location. The Community Service Unit has also conducted high visibility directed patrols to deter criminal behavior. Monitoring of the area will continue, however, in the meantime, please call the non-emergency number when the problem is occurring so that an officer may be dispatched to resolve the issue immediately.
If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact Community Service Acting Sergeant Crawford at 893-4819. Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention.
Sincerely,
Luke C. Williams
Assistant Chief of Police
