New Haven department of public works states that all of the trash removed from State Street added up to 6000 lbs at the transfer station...6000lbs of garbage in 4 hours by a little over 20 people. Not bad.

Alas, the trash is back - less than 2 months since we cleaned it all up. Can we get the fence fixed, or at least have a garbage can installed nearby?

Can clean team help us out with this until we have our next community cleanup?
Also Maybe we could have the brush trimmed back.

I think we should close this issue till early next year as its tough to get to or see the garbage when the foliage is in season.

I sent a letter to the DOT back in late August and received a letter back on September 23rd articulating their desire to be good stewards of the property and that they cleaned up the area in mid-September.
