people go straight on gay street in the far left lane which is a turning lane. I have had numerous close calls due to people going straight in the turning lane. while there are signs which state left lane must turn left, there is no longer pavement markings stating such and i guess people do not see the signs, or do not care. the only marking on the pavement is the solid white line
