See what WTNH news today (4-23-2015) has posted about what Bridgeport is doing about dirt bikes and ATVs running wild around their town.
I was blocked last weekend by one of these young men from traveling down Hubinger to my house so that he could do a couple of donuts and wheelies. What a bully. These are bullies and don't care about their neighbors at all. The illegal off road vehicles use 79 Hubinger St for their base of operations. They use an app to know where the police are at anytime. The police are being out smarted here.
Just wait until one of them is involved in a serious accident. Its not if it will happen, its when. What if one of them hits your car? Your insurance rate will go up to pay for the damage.
They do not own the hood, we, the taxpayers do!!!

This is one of the most important 'quality of life' issues in our city. I'm sick and tired of voting up and posting on this issue, only to have it completely ignored by the city. Yes, the riders have a lot of ways of avoiding the police (wearing ski masks so they can't be identified in pictures, the police app, flaws in the law, etc.), but I don't care. I really want this issue fixed, one way or another. The city and the police just don't seem interested in solving this, because it's hard. I don't care. Dealing with the noise and the danger on a daily basis is really hard, too.

New haven PD is a sad joke , sorry that's just the way it is..They have so many criminals in their families , They march down from the towns that they're from , to perpetuate crimes under the umbrella of Political Patronage and money grab by Pols.
Sory but the relentless unabated crime does not have many explanations.

They are to worried about being politically correct, run them off the run, stun gun them , use nets if they get hurt it's their own fault. Then charge their parents for the damages they cause.

These delinquents have caused property damage to the church next door. There are now big ruts in the church's nicely cared for lawn. The police were called when they were out running around at 1am in the ATV but the police never showed up. NHPD is a joke.

I am repeatedly asked to close this issue and I'm finally doing that. However, the dirt bikes and Quads have not stopped the assault on the city.
