My car was actually stolen overnight last night and probably because I ended up having to park it around the corner instead of on our nice quiet little street. They need to be towing on game day, not just ticketing. Many people ignore the "Do Not Enter" signs.
That is ridiculous. The problem is DCDOT is NOT enforcing parking in our area. I have not seen one parking ticket in months since last season ended. They usually only do one sweep hours before game time before most of the violators get into the area. Of course the secret gets out eventually and people are going to find "free" parking rather than the $30+ lots.
DDOT - Start enforcing parking for the residents who PAY for parking.
