I am writing to bring to your attention a recurring issue that poses a significant inconvenience and potential hazard to the residents this neighborhood especially for the residents of 1409 E Chestnut Ln, Gilbert AZ 85298. Following rainfalls, there is a consistent buildup of water in front of my house, located at 1409 E Chestnut Ln, which fails to drain adequately due to a slope issue in the road.
The accumulation of water not only obstructs pedestrian pathways at some times but also poses a safety risk to both pedestrians and motorists. Additionally, the stagnant water creates an ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes, which poses health concerns for the community.
I kindly request that the city address this matter promptly by evaluating and rectifying the slope issue in the road to ensure proper drainage. Doing so will not only mitigate the inconvenience faced by residents but also contribute to enhancing the safety and overall quality of life in our neighborhood.
