Frequent running of stop signs

Q. What is the nature of the problem? Please describe in detail.
A. There are two stop signs- one at entrance to basswood blvd and one at bottom of Hillsboro. No stop signs on Longmeadow. Drivers on Longmeadow frequently have to stop or slow down despite no stop signs because drivers coming from Hillsboro and basswood almost always blow through the stop signs at high rates of speed. This is a very dangerous situation that has been reported previously but never addressed. It is a serious or deadly accident and waiting to happen. Either put stop signs at Longmeadow to make a 4 way stop or have police monitor those that ignore the stop signs.
